Terms of use

Updated on

These terms govern the use of the Orafolio website (orafolio.com) and the purchase of the ebooks sold on it. By browsing the site or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agree to what is written here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

OraFolio is the site and the brand operated by the company identified below:

  • Company name: Pagar Fácil Ltda
  • Company registration number (CNPJ): 67.549.049/0001-79
  • Address: Avenida Paulista, 1636, Pavmto 11 Conj 05, Bela Vista, São Paulo/SP, CEP 01310-200

What the site offers

Orafolio has two parts:

  • A free blog, with articles published in Portuguese, Spanish, English, French, German and Italian. Reading requires no sign-up.
  • An ebook shop: digital PDF files delivered by download as soon as payment is confirmed. We do not sell physical products and nothing is shipped by post.

Who can buy

To buy you must be 18 or over and legally capable, and you must give true, current information. Purchases made with false data, or with someone else's data without their permission, may be cancelled.

Accounts and the information you give us

There is no user account and no password: you buy directly at the checkout. On these English pages, and on every page outside Portuguese, payment is by credit card only, in a single instalment, and the form asks for your name, your email address and your card details. We do not ask for an identification document, a postcode or a street address. On the Portuguese pages the form also asks for a CPF, the Brazilian taxpayer number, which the payment provider requires in order to issue the charge.

You are responsible for giving us a valid email address and for being able to open it: that is where the confirmation and the download link are sent. A typo in the email address is the most common cause of "I never received anything" — if it happens, write to and we will fix it.

How we handle this data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Price, currency and taxes

Prices are shown on the product page and at the checkout, always before you confirm. The price that applies is the one shown at the moment of purchase.

You are always charged in Brazilian reais (BRL). On pages in other languages the price may also be displayed converted into your local currency, marked with an approximation sign, for reference only: the conversion is indicative, made with a reference exchange rate, and the amount actually debited is the amount in reais. The final rate applied, the Brazilian IOF tax and any conversion or international transaction fees are set by the bank that issued your card and are outside our control.

Prices include the taxes that apply in Brazil. We may change prices at any time; a change never affects purchases already completed.

Payment methods

Payment is handled by our own payment platform, PagarFácil, run by the same company behind this site. To issue and settle the charges, that platform works with authorised payment institutions:

  • Asaas (Asaas Gestão Financeira Instituições de Pagamento S.A.): credit card, plus Pix and bank slip (boleto) on the Portuguese pages, where card payments can be split into up to three instalments.
  • Mercado Pago, when that is the active provider: the same methods.

On pages outside Portuguese, only credit card in a single payment is available, because Pix and bank slip are Brazilian payment rails that require a Brazilian document.

Your card details are transmitted directly to the payment institution. We neither store nor log them: at most we keep the last four digits and the card brand, when it tells us.

Approving the charge is a decision of the payment institution and of the card issuer. A decline is not our decision and we do not always know the reason — if it happens, talk to your bank or try another payment method.

Confirmation and delivery

Delivery is entirely digital:

  • Credit card: confirmation is usually immediate, unless the issuer holds the transaction for review.
  • Pix (Portuguese pages): the code appears at once and is valid for about 24 hours. Confirmation usually takes a few minutes.
  • Bank slip (Portuguese pages): it falls due in 3 calendar days, and bank clearing can take up to 3 working days after payment — the product is released only after clearing.

As soon as payment is confirmed with the payment institution, the order becomes "paid" and the download link is released on your order page, as well as being sent by email. We never release the file on the strength of a notification alone: we always verify the payment directly with the gateway, in an authenticated request.

The download link is personal and contains a random code. It stays available for as long as the order is paid, with no set expiry date. Even so, we recommend downloading the file and keeping your own copy. If the link stops working, write to with your order number and we will send it again.

Keep the confirmation email: it contains the address of your order page.

Technical requirements

The ebooks are PDF files. To open them you only need a PDF reader, available free of charge on any current computer, phone or tablet. We do not provide EPUB or MOBI formats, and there is no printed edition.

Intellectual property and licence of use

All the content on the site — text, images, brand, page arrangement — and the content of the ebooks are protected by Brazil's Copyright Law (Law 9.610/1998) and by international treaties.

When you buy an ebook you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence of use. You may read the file, keep it on your devices and print one copy for your own use.

You may not:

  • Resell, rent, lend, distribute or publish the file, in whole or in part.
  • Share the download link, or post it on social networks, messaging groups, forums, file-sharing sites or cloud storage services.
  • Reproduce substantial extracts in other products, courses or publications.
  • Remove marks, credits or authorship notices.
  • Use the content to train artificial intelligence models or to feed commercial databases.

Short quotations with the source and the site address stated are allowed, under art. 46 of Law 9.610/1998. Use outside the licence may lead to your access being blocked and to the civil and criminal measures available in law, without any refund of the amount paid.

How the content is produced

The texts on the blog and in the ebooks are produced with the support of artificial intelligence tools and go through editorial review and an automated language and spelling check before they are published. Choosing the subjects, the structure and the decision to publish are human. We say this openly because we think you have the right to know how what you read was made.

Despite the review, texts made this way can contain inaccuracies. If you find an error, write to : we correct the material and update it.

The content is informational

The content of the site and of the ebooks is informational and educational. It is not, under any circumstances, a substitute for the care of a qualified professional.

  • Anything about health, food, exercise and wellbeing is not medical or nutritional advice and is not a prescription. Before changing your diet, your training routine or any treatment, consult a health professional — especially during pregnancy, with a chronic condition, or while taking medication.
  • Content about faith and spirituality is devotional and reflective in nature and does not replace religious, psychological or medical counselling.
  • Content about crafts, decoration and table setting describes techniques and materials; the result depends on the materials, the tools and the practice of each person. Follow the manufacturers' safety instructions and keep materials, tools and small parts away from children.
  • Content about personal organisation and self-help does not replace psychological or psychiatric support.

We promise no specific outcome. What you get depends on your circumstances and on how you apply it.

Advertising

The site may show Google AdSense ads. Ads are identified as such and are not a recommendation from us of the products or services advertised. We are not responsible for the content of the ads or for what the advertisers offer. How advertising handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

The site may contain links to third-party pages, cited as a source or as further reading. We do not control those sites and we are not answerable for their content, their privacy practices or their products. Once you click, you are subject to the terms of that site.

Product reviews

Only buyers can review, and the review is written from the page of the paid order itself. The rules:

  • We publish only the buyer's first name and a verified purchase mark.
  • Every review is moderated before it appears, to keep out spam, other people's personal data, abuse, hate speech, illegal content and text unrelated to the product.
  • We do not edit the substance of an opinion: a review is either published as written or refused.
  • We do not publish invented, bought or incentivised reviews. We never ask for a rating in exchange for a discount or a gift.
  • You can ask us to remove your review at any time by writing to .

There is no comment area on the blog.

User conduct

When using the site, you agree not to:

  • Try to reach restricted areas, accounts or other people's data.
  • Interfere with the running of the site, overload it or work around technical limits.
  • Harvest content in bulk by automated means without permission.
  • Use the site for illegal activity, fraud or the infringement of anyone's rights.
  • Submit false data at the checkout or use someone else's payment method without permission.

Availability of the service

We do what we can to keep the site up, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or fault-free operation. There may be interruptions for maintenance, infrastructure provider failures, attacks or events beyond our control. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site, including the sale of a product — which does not affect orders already paid, whose access we continue to honour.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the applicable law allows, and without prejudice to the rights that Brazil's Consumer Protection Code, or the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, gives you:

  • We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the content.
  • We are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of the informational content of the site.
  • We are not liable for failures of your device, your connection, your PDF reader or your email provider.
  • Our liability for any order is limited to the amount actually paid for it, except where the law does not allow that limitation.

Nothing here excludes liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or defects in the product under the Consumer Protection Code.

Suspension of access

We may suspend access to the download and cancel orders in cases of proven fraud, an unjustified payment dispute, public sharing of the file or serious breach of these terms. Whenever possible, we warn you by email first.

Refunds and withdrawal

You have 7 days from the purchase to change your mind, even if you have already downloaded the file, under art. 49 of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code. If the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you a longer or more favourable withdrawal period, that right is preserved and we will honour it. The conditions, the steps and the deadlines are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Support

Support is by email at . We normally reply within two working days.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the update date below. Changes apply to purchases made after publication; your purchase is governed by the version in force on the day you made it.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the district where the company has its seat are chosen to settle any dispute, without prejudice to the consumer's right to sue in the courts of their own domicile under art. 101, I, of the Consumer Protection Code. If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you keep the right to bring proceedings before your local courts where your law says so.

  • Seat: Avenida Paulista, 1636, Pavmto 11 Conj 05, Bela Vista, São Paulo/SP, CEP 01310-200

If any clause of these terms is held to be invalid, the remaining clauses stay in force.
